MISEREOR is the german catholic bishops’ organization for development cooperation.
Since 1958 MISEREOR organization has been creating self-help initiatives for the third world in the fight against poverty and injustice.
Throughout the donations that they received, they found that very few people knew that small donations can make a big difference. Since every euro counts and it is clear that small donations can make a big difference.
They thought about a solution that shows this fact and solves this problem.
The simple solution for this problem was the credit card since over 40% of the payments in Europe were made with one.
They thought about a creative way that attracts the people and broke this barrier to the small number of donations using the credit card.
These posters attracted people in the international airports and stayed with them long after when they received the bank statement they were asked to turn their donation into a monthly donation.
It is a small gesture that makes a great difference. That is why social swipe made the giving become easier than ever before.
I really liked how they come up with a clever unique experience that makes the people be a part of the donation process and give them the pleasure to interact and feel the impact directly throw the visuals and the messages that they delivered with this experience and give them the opportunity to make this action become permanent by turning their donation into a monthly donation.
